Pressure is the wrong tool
The fastest way to ruin a Pocatello deck is to hit it with a pressure washer turned all the way up. Wood that has been sitting in valley sun for six or eight summers is soft on top. Too much pressure does not clean that surface, it tears it. You get furred grain, you get stripes where the wand tracked, and those stripes never come out. They just get more obvious once the wood dries.
