Why It Matters

Bringing the Color Back Without Chewing Up the Wood

Wood does not last long out here without help. Intense high-desert sun breaks down the surface, winter moisture works into the grain, and freeze-thaw cycles do the rest. Give a deck a few seasons and it goes silver-gray, splintery, and rough enough that nobody wants to walk on it barefoot.

The wood underneath is usually fine. It just needs the gray weathered layer lifted off, and that takes patience rather than power. Too much pressure furs up the grain and leaves permanent wand marks, so we clean at low pressure with the right solution and let the wood come back on its own terms.

WHY WAKE

What sets us apart

We get the glass all the way clean

Glass cleaned inside and out, with the hard water spotting lifted off underneath. Plenty of companies do a quick pass and leave the minerals behind, which is why those windows look clean for a week and then don't.

The right approach for every job

The right pressure and cleaning solution for every surface, from glass to siding, roofs, concrete, and weathered wood. The method is matched to the surface, so it cleans safely and lasts.

A real quote, fast

Tell us about your property, or email photos of each side of your home, and get a clear, detailed estimate back quickly. No vague 'starting at' numbers and no high-pressure sales visit.

Local to Southeast Idaho

Based right here in Southeast Idaho, serving Bannock, Bonneville, Bingham, Madison, Jefferson, and Teton County, not a franchise routed in from out of town. We know what sprinkler overspray and field dust do to glass here, because we clean it every day.

FAQs

Common questions about deck and fence cleaning in Southeast Idaho.

My deck is gray and splintery. Is it too far gone?

Usually not. The wood underneath is generally fine; what you're looking at is a weathered gray layer sitting on top of it. Lift that off and the color comes back. Sun, winter moisture, and freeze-thaw cycles do that to every deck out here given a few seasons.

Will pressure washing ruin my deck?

It can, which is why we don't do it that way. Too much pressure furs up the grain and leaves permanent wand marks in the boards. Cleaning wood takes patience rather than power, so we work at low pressure with the right solution and let the wood come back on its own terms.

Can you clean composite decking like Trex?

Yes. Composite doesn't weather the way wood does, but it still collects grime and organic growth, and it still needs the pressure kept down. We clean it the same careful way.

Do you clean fences and pergolas too?

Fences, gates, pergolas, and deck framing are all included. We get the rails, spindles, and posts, not just the deck boards, so the whole structure matches when we're done.

What happens to the plants around the deck?

We protect and pre-wet the surrounding plants and beds before we start, then finish with a rinse and a walkthrough with you. It's the same care we take on a house wash.
