Cedar will not forgive a pressure washer
This matters more in Victor than almost anywhere else we work. Cedar is soft to begin with and softer after years of intense sun and snow sitting on it. Point a pressure washer at it at any real PSI and you will not clean it, you will carve it. The wand leaves permanent tracks in cedar that no amount of later stain will hide.
We clean it the slow way. Low pressure, the solution doing the lifting, working across the whole surface so boards, rails, and spindles come out matching. When it dries you get cedar back, not a striped record of where somebody moved a wand.
Cedar is the reason Victor decks look the way they do. It is a soft wood, it is what half the cabins in south Teton Valley are built with, and it silvers out under mountain sun faster than anything else on the property. Add split-rail fencing that has been standing in weather for a decade and you get a place where every piece of exposed wood has settled into the same shade of gray.
Some people like the silver. Most people liked the cedar. If you want the color back, it is under there, and getting to it is a cleaning problem rather than a replacement problem.
Cabins, rails, and everything left in the weather
Victor properties tend to have more exposed wood than square footage would suggest, and all of it is taking the same beating.
- Cedar decking, rails, and spindles
- Split-rail fencing and gates
- Log posts and heavy timber supports
- Stairs, landings, and deck framing
- Pergolas and covered decks
- Shaded corners holding organic growth
Plants and beds are protected and pre-wet first. If the cabin is a second home and you are not in town, send photos and we will quote by email. Otherwise call Wake Window Cleaning at (208) 604-2307.

What sets us apart
We get the glass all the way clean
Glass cleaned inside and out, with the hard water spotting lifted off underneath. Plenty of companies do a quick pass and leave the minerals behind, which is why those windows look clean for a week and then don't.
The right approach for every job
The right pressure and cleaning solution for every surface, from glass to siding, roofs, concrete, and weathered wood. The method is matched to the surface, so it cleans safely and lasts.
